Cleavers

Cleavers

Cleavers (Gallium aparine), is a climbing plant native to Asia and North American. Traditionally, cleavers has been used as a diuretic, for cleansing the kidneys, blood, and lymph system. Used especially for swollen glands and skin eruptions caused by lymphatic congestion.

It is also useful in treating eczema, psoriasis, and arthritis. An infusion may be applied on the skin to clear the complexion and may also be used as a hair rinse when treating dandruff. Use as a poultice for scalds and burns.

Washing after using deodorant you will notice the skin has a slight resistance to soap. Cleavers has the same harmless effect.
