ce the name. Though fairly new to Western culture, the leaves of the gingko tree have been used for centuries in the Orient for complaints associated with aging. Today, it is one of the top selling herbs in the United States.
Ginkgo improves blood flow throughout the body, especially in the heart and brain. In fact, it’s one of the best herbs for brain health, with the potential to prevent stroke and Alzheimer’s disease. Varicose Vein Remedy
2-6 teaspoons hyssop
1 teaspoon eucalyptus
1 teaspoon of calendula
1 teaspoon grated citrus peel
1 teaspoon chopped rhubarb stalks
3 cups water
lemon
In a bowl or
saucepan, combine the hyssop, eucalyptus, calendula, citrus peel, and rhubarb. Cover with the freshly boiled water. Steep for 10 minutes, then strain, flavor with the lemon. Drink up to three cups a day, refrigerating any left over for later use.
