Lemongrass Soap is a magnificent combination of lemon and lemongrass that provides a natural treatment for oily skin and works as an antiseptic. Some of the ingredients may be found in the spice cabinet at home. Melt the oils together and add essential oils in the last phase. Pour into a container and let cool.  Lemon (Citrus Limon) is a citrus fruit, found in warm climates and contains mostly juice. Grapefruits, limes, oranges, and lemons are all part of the citrus group and are known for vitamin C. Citrus fruits are commonly used for cleansing the body, digestion, and liver functions. Lemons cleanse, purify, and rejuvenate, the body by support of the high vitamin C and potassium levels.
 
To aid digestion, add a half of a squeezed lemon to one cup of water and drink before meals. Lemon juice may be added to any herbal tea for a boost of vitamin C. Herbal mint tea with lemon is useful for helping to relieve headaches.
 
Lemon and Oatmeal Scrub for Oily Skin is also very easy to make at home by blending the following ingredients, applying to the face, and after the mixture dries, scrub off with a warm washcloth.
 
1tsp. lemon juice
2 Tbs. of oatmeal
1 Tbs. plain yogurt
